  • 20/04/2014 FTMTA Partnership announced

    - Following on from the success of Skupe's partnership with the Society of Irish Motor Industry, Skupe Net has now partnered with the Farm Tractors and Machinery Traders Association (FTMTA) to provide similar benefits to their members. Members are now able to broadcast their machinery adverts to the key publishing partners in the Irish market, via an easy to use control panel. In addition, members can avail of a free website for their own business and the Association is able to list members adverts on the Associations website

    The solution has been deployed as a white label service via Skupe Net's EasierAd platform.
  • 30/05/2012 Skupe Net pilots new car dealer stock management system with DoneDeal

    - DoneDeal is the largest classified website in Ireland and delivers over 165m page views every month. The business has expanded rapidly by offering a 'single ad posting' service directly to visitors to their website. DoneDeal have piloted with Skupe Net to introduce a new integrated control panel for Irish Car Dealers that enables the dealer to easily manage their stocklistings on their own website and publisher websites. The solution is fully managed and supported by Skupe Net.
    30/05/2013 update: The pilot has proved to be extremely successful with over 500 dealers signing up to the new service in the first year.
  • 29/03/2011 Bentley Pre-Owned Ad wins 2011 Online Rich Media Ad Award

    - Independent Judges at the IAC Awards have awarded Skupe Net's Smart Banner Advert for Bentley Motors Pre-Owned the accolade for Best Automobile Rich media Online ad, 2011.

    The Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards are produced by the Web Marketing Association to honor excellence in online advertising, recognize the individuals and organizations responsible, and showcase the best in award winning Internet advertising.

  • 20/01/2011 Smartphone websites deployed for Irish Motor Dealers

    - Smartphone useage to browse the Internet has surged in 2010. It is expected that by 2014 more web pages will be viewed on mobile devices such as Smartphones than full size devices such as laptops and Desktop PC.

    In order to assist their members with this changing landscape the Society for the Irish Motor Industry has created over three hundred Smartphone websites for their members and created a SIMI Smartphone directory.

    The solution has been deployed as a white label service via Skupe Net's Gemsite mobile platform.
  • 21/12/2010 Bentley Motors deploy Smart Banner campaign on www.autotrader.co.uk

    - Bentley Motors, the luxury performance car manufacturer have utilised Skupe Net Smart Banner technology for their current pre-owned, approved vehicles advertising campaign.
    The campaign is being delivered via Leaderboards on Autotrader's UK website. The interactive rich media format allows users to search from within the banner, view actual vehicles for sale and click through directly to the actual car on the www.bentleymotors.com website. In order to improve the campaign response rates, the pre-owned cars displayed within the banners are optimised to ensure that only the most relevant vehicles are presented to the Autotrader visitor.

  • 20/05/2010 Irish Times launches new motoring classifieds platform

    - The Irish Times have launched their new motoring portal. The classifieds section is powered by Skupe Net and enables dealers to promote their car listings and their dealership via classified listings, banner adverts and featured adverts alongside motoring news and reviews. The car search engine has been extensively upgraded to make it even easier for car buyers to use and searching by multiple makes and models at the same time as well as the usual fuel, bodytype searches are now possible.
  • 01/05/2010 www.donedeal.ie deploy second Smart Banner campaign

    - Following on from their successful first trial of Skupe Net Smart Banners, www.donedeal.ie the popular classifieds website have proceeded with a second campaign and are delivering the MPU and Leaderboard Ad units via a standard ad network partner.
  • 20/04/2010 Carpages achieves a Hitwise Top10 placement for UK Motoring Classifieds

    - Once again www.carpages.co.uk have achieved a Hitwise Top10 UK ranking for their motoring classifieds section utilising Skupe Net's motoring classifieds solution. The Hitwise 2009 Top 10 Awards recognise websites from over 160 industries that are leaders in their industry. We are delighted to be assisting Carpages in this sector.
  • 05/02/2010 www.donedeal.ie deploy Smart Banner campaign

    - www.donedeal.ie the popular classifieds website has launched a Smart Banner display campaign. The MPU and Leaderboard Ad units utilise the Skupe Net Smart Banner engine to include live adverts by collecting a live datafeed from Donedeal via RSS.
  • 18/01/2010 SIMI launches www.beepbeep.ie

    - The Society of Irish Motor Industry officially launched their new website www.beepbeep.ie today. Speaking at the launch Alan Nolan, the General Director of the SIMI highlighted the concerns many consumers have when purchasing a car and explained that all cars listed on www.beepbeep.ie are provided by car dealers who are SIMI members. These members adhere to the SIMI code of ethics and all cars listed have also passed a comprehensive car history check.
    Skupe Net were selected by the SIMI to provide the ad management solution and the search engine for their BeepBeep initative.
  • 01/01/2010 Channel4 closes www.channel4.com/4car

    - Launched ten years ago as an online companion for the TV show Driven, 4Car grew into one of the foremost sources of independent car reviews, news and features in the UK. Unfortunately the current economic climate has made it difficult to keep the site running, especially without the justification of an accompanying TV show. In light of the large running costs and downbeat commercial market continuing into 2010, Channel4 have reluctantly decided to close the site. The C4 Notice can be found here

  • 08/10/2008 BuyAndSell.ie deploys a Skupe Net solution for Trade Adverts

    - BuyAndSell, Irelands largest online marketplace has recently relaunched their Motoring Classifieds service. The advert management system needed to be fast and easy to use for Motor Dealers. It needed to integrate both the Internet and Print advertising systems. Skupe Net's trade ad management system provides just such a system and was chosen by BuyAndSell to power their Dealer Portal.
  • 16/05/2008 Channel4 utilises a Skupe Net solution for their new motoring classifieds service

    - Today, Channel4 announced the launch of their new service, 'For the first time in its nine-year lifetime, 4Car now has a classified advertising service offering thousands of new and used cars for sale.'
    Channel 4 is collaborating with motoring classifieds publisher UK-cars-for-sale and Skupe Net, which it means site visitors can browse 230,000 vehicles for sale from more than 4,000 dealers every day. The service allows potential car buyers to choose the exact make and model, and ultimately help them find the vehicle they want - at the right price and at the most convenient location.

    - A Skupe Net client, www.carpages.co.uk was presented with a Hitwise Top10 ranking today for UK Motoring Classifieds. In March of this year, Carpages outsourced the Motoring Classifieds portion of their business to Skupe Net. During the period July-September, www.carpages.co.uk ranked No. 8 by visits among all United Kingdom websites in the Hitwise Automotive - Classifieds industry.   • 09/10/2007 Motopia launches new local motoring magazine and website for Wiltshire

    - Motopia is the brainchild of Melissa Terry, the distinguished motoring journalist whose accolades include the Mitsubishi Motors' Regional Motoring Journalist of the Year award by the Guild of Motoring Writers. Motopia will be launching their local magazine and website in November. In addition to national news and reviews, the publication will include strong local coverage including motorsport with Thruxton, Gurston Down and Castle Combe on the doorstep. The local car search and business directory will enable readers to quickly track down cars and services in their neighbourhood.

    - Carpages.co.uk is one of the top 20 UK motoring web sites (source:Hitwise). Their archive contains over 14,000 documents of car news, reviews and facts. Carpages have now introduced an intergrated car search that will enable their users to research and find used cars as part of the same process. In addition to the standard car search, each news story and review includes a right hand side skyscraper that promotes a selection of vehicles relevant to the actual story.   • 10/09/2006 HPI announce their Skupe Net partnership

    - HPI joined forces with Skupe Net in order to enable their dealers to benefit from the advertising opportunities that the Brand Builder solution can offer.
